What My Clients Say
“Dr. Aeja Jackson has been an outstanding mentor who helped shape my route to a career in biomedical research. She not only helped me discover my interest in research but also led me to the PREP (Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program) at LSU Health Sciences Center. This year-long program aims to prepare individuals from underrepresented backgrounds for success in biomedical PhD programs by providing extensive research experience and academic development. Dr. Jackson’s mentorship gave me the courage and chance to pursue a career that I had previously felt was out of reach.”

What My Clients Say
“I had the privilege of meeting Aeja in 2023 at a professional conference during my third year of pharmacy school. Our shared passion for real-world data led to a meaningful connection that has continued to shape my career.
Aeja has played a pivotal role in my early professional development. She has expanded my professional network, connected me with impactful organizations and opportunities, including travel scholarships that have allowed me to attend conferences I might not have discovered on my own. Beyond offering professional support, Aeja’s heart is what stands out the most.
Aeja doesn’t just show up for me professionally, she shows up for me as a person. She checks in regularly, offers honest advice, and provides encouragement whenever I need it. I don’t just see Aeja as a mentor, she’s become a sister and a friend. I’m truly grateful to have her in my life.”

What My Clients Say
“I am honored to write this testimonial for the greatest mentor there is, Ms. Aeja Jackson. I first met Aeja in 2022 through ULM’s mentorship program. August of 2022 was my first semester at ULM. I was a transfer student and I am a first-generation college student, so it all felt like a heavy weight to carry. She helped me so much in my first year, and continues to help me on my journey now. She is truly an inspiring mentor. Her guidance, wisdom, commitment to her mentee’s and her professional knowledge has made a lasting impact on both my personal and professional development.
What stood out the most was her remarkable ability to connect with others. One of the most valuable lessons I learned from her is the power of networking. Aeja helped me make so many connections in the pharmaceutical and academia field. When I had questions about exploring a different pharmaceutical specialties, she had someone I could to talk to and connect with. If she didn’t have anyone she personally connected with, she would definitely find someone to connect me with. She didn’t just talk about making connections—she modeled it. I had the privilege of witnessing how she seamlessly built rapport with fellow colleagues in the academia and pharmaceutical realm. Every connection is grounded in shared values, mutual respect, and a collective desire to improve patient care and advance the field of healthcare. These connections helped create opportunities for deeper dialogue and collaboration, often leading to better professional development and lasting mentorships of my own.
Aeja’s dedication to inclusivity created an open space, helping me to feel seen and heard. Her mentorship style is both empowering and empathetic— she challenges you to grow while still supporting you every step of the way. In a profession where personal and professional relationships are essential to success, she stands out as a role model. Aeja has an incredible gift for bringing people together. I am grateful for the opportunity to have a mentor who is so dedicated to uplifting others and advancing the healthcare profession. I am confident that her influence will continue to shape future generations of healthcare professionals.”

What My Clients Say
“Aeja tutored me in two graduate-level subjects, epidemiology and biostatistics.
As a non-traditional student with dyscalculia, I cannot recommend her highly enough. A bit of background about me: I dropped out of high school decades ago, largely due an inability to grasp the mathematical component of my studies and lack of access to resources that might help me. Since I struggle with understanding, applying, and retaining mathematical concepts, I came to our tutoring sessions with an internalized sense of shame and embarrassment, but from our very first session, Aeja approached every challenge with patience, clarity, and a deep sense of empathy.
She had a strong command of the material and was able to adapt her teaching style to meet my unique learning needs. She broke down complex statistical methods into digestible steps, used real-world examples to test my comprehension, and never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed. Whether we were reviewing regression models, interpreting data outputs, or walking through epidemiologic study designs, she always made sure I understood the "why" behind each concept- not just the "how". Her encouragement and belief in my abilities, when I didn't believe in myself, helped me to push through my fear and anxiety around numbers and successfully complete both courses.
I highly recommend her to anyone- but especially to those who face learning challenges and need a tutor who is both knowledgeable and genuinely supportive.”
